Sensedge Mini Dashboard Setup Guide

This manual will tell you how to connect your Sensedge Mini with the Kaiterra dashboard. Make sure your Sensedge mini is powered on and has a connection to the internet. Go to https://dashboard.kaiterra.com, and register an account with your email address.

Remove the plastic front cover of your Sensedge Mini. Turn on the device using the ON/OFF switch (if the device is already on, switch the device off and back on to enable Configuration Mode).

Connect your computer or smartphone to the Wi-Fi network starting with “Kaiterra”. It should be listed within your wifi network(s).

Now you open  the Kaitera Enterprise application and click on “Configure”. Look for the UDID parameter of the sensor. The UDID of the Sensedge mini will be displayed and you have to copy this or write it down.

Log into your Kaiterra dashboard account and click the “Add Device” button.

Enter your device’s UDID in the pop-up window, then click “Add Device”.

If you did this right your newly added Sensedge Mini will be visible in the Kaiterra Dashboard.

Onboarding to Planetwatch

Go to the “sensor tab” in the planetwatch app.

In the “Sensor” tab, press the plus button (+) in the top right corner. Of course you need to have a type 3 license.

A new page will appear, showing the licenses that you can currently use to activate a sensor. Press  on the Type 3 license that you own.

Now a new page will show up.

Fill in the UDID of your Sensedge Mini into the “insert sensor ID” box

Now you have to locate your API-Key. Go to https://dashboard.kaiterra.com in your browser Click on the your profile icon and go to account settings. Here you will see your API key. Make a screenshot, write down, or copy your API-Key. If you do not have an API-Key, then you can generate an API-key by clicking on “generate API-Key”.

Go to your planetwatch app. In the ‘Insert your token’ box, paste the API-Key of your account. Press the ‘Proceed’ button.

A new page will appear, showing all the wallets you have imported in the application. Note: PlanetWatch will never save your passphrase!

Select the desired wallet by clicking on the wallet name.

A new page will appear, showing a summary of the activation process. You can check at the top of the page which license, sensor and wallet you are using in this process.

Now you have to fill in your address details. Make sure you fill in the right address, otherwise your Sensedge mini will not be streaming data to Planetwatch!

Click on the proceed button within your planetwatch app.

The activation process can take up to two minutes, please wait patiently without pressing any buttons on your phone or computer.
If everything goes well then your license will be paired to your Sensedge Mini sensor and you will be able to stream data to the PlanetWatch network.

If something goes wrong, an error message will be displayed. Please, retry to activate the sensor again. If the problem persists, try again later. If you aren’t able in any way to activate the license, please open a ticket.
